Evansville Municipal Facility This project began with a comprehensive feasibility study, commissioned to identify the optimal site, program, and design for a new civic complex housing the Town Hall, Police Department, Fire Department, and EMS facilities. The study - encompassing site selection, programming, schematic design, cost analysis, and graphic illustrations - laid the groundwork for a ballot initiative and established a clear vision for the future of civic services in the community. The resulting facility design consolidates aging, dispersed buildings into a single, efficient hub. More than an exercise in efficiency, the project embodies resilience, transparency, and civic identity. Upgraded technologies and improved energy performance reduce operational costs, while enhanced working and living quarters strengthen support for fire and police personnel. For the public, the building provides streamlined, welcoming access to municipal services within a modern architectural expression that redefines the town's identity. Resiliency was a guiding principle. Redundant utilities and emergency power systems safeguard uninterrupted operations during severe weather and natural disasters. Secure staff parking, ample public parking, and a clear site organization promote safety and ease of use - all while eliminating wasteful redundancies across formerly separate facilities.
